Important Test Dates To Take Note Of
Do take note of the following important test dates:
English
Sound Discrimination, Picture Matching and Listening Comprehension (Monday, 22 Oct)
- Pick the correct word, picture and answers based on the word sounds, sentences, instructions and passages respectively that are being read out
Visual Text and Reading Comprehension Test (Wednesday, 24 Oct)
- Read a poster and answer questions based on the poster read
- Read a passage and answer questions based on the passage read
Grammar and Vocabulary (Monday, 29 Oct)
*A practice paper has been given to our children yesterday
Read Aloud and Stimulus-Based Conversation (SBC) (Thursday, 1 Nov)
- Read aloud a given passage
- Given a few pictures and questions asked by the teacher, describe and develop responses as much as possible without the teacher's prompting
Maths
Maths Topical Test (Tuesday, 30 October)
- Tested topics are
1) Whole Numbers Within 100
2) Addition and Subtraction Within 40 (With and without regrouping)
3) Multiplication
4) Division
5) Money
Homework (For PSLE Week)
Our children need not report to school from Next Monday to Thursday as it will be the PSLE marking week. Our children will need to do the following homework:
1) 3 Practice Papers (2 English and 1 Maths Practice Papers)
2) 1 Read Aloud (Practise reading aloud the passage) and Stimulus-based Conversation (Look at pictures and respond to questions, share as much as possible)
3) 1 Maths Puzzle Kit
4) 3 SLS Homework

ZPS Shining Stars 2018 (Thursday, 8 November 2018)
Our children will be putting up their Speech and Drama performance, The Frog Prince, on Thursday, 8 November. We would like to invite you to come to school. Our children have put in much effort in their training since the start of the year and all of us would love to have you watch them perform on this special day. Your attendance will definitely root on for our children. Do join us if possible!
