House Practice on Next Tuesday and Following Tuesday (3 July and 10 July)

Our school will be having our Sports Carnival Day on Thursday, 12 July. Our P1 to P6 children will be taking part in this sports event. To prepare them for the event, we will be having house practices on next Tuesday and the following Tuesday (3 July and 10 July). As such, our children will need to wear their PE attire on these two days.

*Parents and Guardians, as the children have not been informed of this, I would need your help to inform our children and have them wear PE attire on these 2 days.

Youth Day (Next Monday, 2 July)

A gentle note that it is a school holiday on Next Monday and pupils need not report to school. Happy Youth Day to our children!

PAL Lessons - Speech and Drama Programme

Starting from today until the end of this year, during our weekly PAL lesson on every Thursday, our children will be taking part in a Speech and Drama programme. Our children will learn how to pronounce words, speak clearly, expressively and confidently. This programme will lead up to our P1 children putting up a performance at the end of the year. More information about this performance will be given in term 4.

2 Maths Workbooks 1A Part 1 and 1A Part 2

Our children have completed these 2 Maths workbooks and have received them today. They may keep these books at home and use them for revision.

Things To Do Today
1. Sign Maths worksheets
2. Sign Spelling List

Each of the children has been given the spelling list for this term today. Do go through the list and sign and allow your child/ward to keep it in his/her file. We will start our first spelling on Next Wednesday, 4 July. Do guide that your child/ward in learning his/her spelling at home.

Welcome back to school everyone! Hope that everyone has had a good rest this holidays.

Progress Report
Thank you parents and guardians for attending our Parent-Child-Teacher Conference before the June holidays. You should have received your child's / ward's progress report on that day. Do ensure that you have gone through it together with your child/ward and sign it. You may keep it at home.

Thank you parents and guardians who have written words of encouragement for our children too. The poster is put up in our classroom.

For parents or guardians who did not manage to come on that day, your child's/ward's progress report has been given to him/her today. Please do the following:
1) Progress Report: Go through, sign and keep it at home.
2) Coloured Post-it Note: Write a message to encourage your child/ward or our 1DS children, and allow your child/ward to bring it back to school tomorrow.
