Sign Spelling List

The spelling list for term 2 has been given to our children. The first spelling will start on next Wednesday, 4 April. Do go through the list, sign at the top corner of the first page of spelling list and allow your child/ward to keep it in his/her file. Do also guide that your child/ward in learning his/her spelling at home.

Doodle and Jot - Things I Can Do

1) List 3 things you can do (Any 3 - they do not have to necessarily be from the above.)
2) Choose 1 of the above, draw and label your picture

4) Write a few sentences on the picture you have drawn.

Sign Maths Performance Task

Before the March Holidays, our children performed 2 Maths tasks based on the following topics:

1) Numbers Positions 

2) Shapes and Patterns

A strip of 10 fruits picture cards and a bowl of shapes were given to each of our children. They were guided through to perform the 2 tasks before writing in the answers. Do go through the paper and you may also like to have your child/ward share with you what he/she has done for each of the 2 tasks. This performance task is non-weighted. Do also sign the paper and allow your child/ward to bring back to school tomorrow.

Maths Topical Test 1

Last week, our children did a Maths topical test based on the topics which we have learnt since the start of the year. This is non-weighted. You may like to take a look at how our child/ward has fared. Our child/ward may do the corrections for questions which he/she has gotten wrong if he/she knows the answers to them first. Do sign and allow the children to bring back to school on first day of school after March Holidays, Monday 19 March. We will be going through the paper in the class. 

2018 English and Maths Remedial Lessons

If your child/ward has received a consent form regarding English or Maths remedial form yesterday or today, do go through it, indicate if you would allow your child/ward to attend and submit to me. Do take note of the remedial dates for the year.

Do have a good rest this March holidays . Stay safe, healthy and I look forward to seeing our children back on the following Monday, 19 March!
