Wear School Uniform (Next Monday, 5 Feb)
Our children will be having a photo-taking on Next Monday for their school smart card (student ez-link card). Do have your child/ward come to school in full school uniform. There is a letter given out to our children today too.
*For PE lesson on Next Monday, Mdm Jun (our 1DS PE Teacher) will do health education with our children in the classroom. The children need not bring or wear PE attire.
St Lukes Donation Envelope
Our children have received a St Lukes donation envelope today. If you like to make a donation with your child/ward, do put in the money into the envelope, seal it, fill in your particulars and let your child/ward bring it to school tomorrow.
*A gentle note that donation is not compulsory.
Buddy System Survey Form
Our children have also received a survey form today. Do help by filling in the survey form and have your child bring it to school tomorrow.

Outdoor Learning Experience at West Coast Park (Thursday, 22 Feb)
There will be an outdoor learning experience for our children this term. Details are as of follow:
Place: West Coast Park
Reporting Time to School: Usual reporting time to school - By 7.30 a.m.
Dismissal Time from School: Usual dismissal time - 1.45 p.m.
Attire: PE attire
*You may like to help our child to apply sunblock lotion and stick a mosquito repellent patch on the PE attire first on that morning before arriving at school.
Things to bring: (Refer to the list in the consent form letter)
Light snacks will be provided and we will go to and come back from the park by school bus.
Do keep the first page of letter for your reference, and fill out the consent form on the second page and allow our child to bring it to school on Next Monday, 29 Jan.
Sign The Farm Concert Worksheet
Our children have also completed the first topical English worksheet on The Farm Concert. Do look through, sign and have our children submit on Next Monday.

Storybook Order (Next Monday-Tuesday, 22-23 Jan)
Our children have each received a Scholastic storybook order form today. If you are keen to get some storybooks for your child do fill in the order form. Your child may bring the order form and payment on Next Monday or Tuesday. The vendors will be in the school canteen during recess time to collect orders.
*Purchase of storybooks is not compulsory.

Snack Break Time
Snack Break Time
Starting from tomorrow, our children may bring a healthy snack to school everyday. There will be a 10-minute snack break time at 12 p.m. noon everyday. Pupils will be given 10 minutes to eat their snacks, drink water, refill water and go for toilet breaks.
You may like to help your child pack some healthy and light snacks in a lunchbox to be brought to school everyday. I would need all of your help to pack snacks that are healthy as the children will be eating them on a daily basis.
Examples of healthy snacks: Fruits, bread with jam, sandwich, biscuits and cake.
Examples of unhealthy food that are not allowed in our classroom: Potato chips, sweet drinks.

Class Timetable
Class Timetable has been given out to the children today. We will follow this timetable with effect from This Friday, 5th January. Please guide your child/ward to follow this timetable when packing his/her school bag everyday.
Portfolio
Kindly note that there is a change to the items for submission. The portfolio is not needed. Please do not purchase it if you have not done so. For parents and guardians who have gotten the portfolios, you may get your child/ward to pass to me and I will have the $3.60, the cost of our portfolio, be returned to you.
*Big thank you to you a few parents for highlighting it to me.
