Once I Caught A Fish Alive
La…!
1, 2, 3, 4, 5! Once I caught a fish alive!
6, 7,
8, 9, 10! Then I let it go again.
Why did you let it go?
Because it bit my finger so!
Which finger did it bite?
This little finger on my right!
La…! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5! I will leave
my fishing line!
6, 7,
8, 9, 10! We must go and see the
King!
Let’s tell him everything
because the sky’s falling in!
What do you think he’ll
say? He’ll send his army right away!
Foxy Loxy
Foxy
Loxy! Foxy Loxy! He is searching all around.
He is
hunting for his dinner! The meanest fox around!
Run away! He will catch
you! He wants you for his lunch!
His tummy is a-rumbling and
his teeth they like to crunch!
He is cheeky! He is sneaky!
His jaws they like to chew!
Beware of Foxy Loxy! He will make a meal of you!
Foxy
Loxy! Foxy Loxy! He is searching all around.
He is
hunting for his dinner! The meanest fox around!
For children who are the narrators and be performing as main characters in this play, do practise your script as well.
